Two very young artists are travelling across the Baltic countries, in quest of both human and natural landscapes. Aleksi Cavaillez, the author of the texts and drawings, is French and has been deaf since he was 5 years old. His road companion, Viktor Vejvoda, is a Czech photographer. To communicate, beside the few words of English they share, Aleksi and Viktor use the full range of visual language: hands, face expressions, drawings, photographs. And this language appears to be also very effective to describe three misrecognized countries of the former Soviet Union and now in Europe.
