Michel Picard

• Lives in Nancy, France. Shortly after the student-and-worker strikes of 1968, defended his thesis on Roger Vailland. A university professor, he has written several works of literary criticism that have become classics: La lecture comme jeu (1986), Lire le temps (1989), Comment la litterature agit-elle ? (1992).
