Gilles Cantagrel

• A musicologist and the former head of France Musique radio, Gilles Cantagrel has written numerous books about music, including Dietrich Buxtehude (Fayard, 2006) and Bach en son temps (Back in His Time, Fayard, 1997). He also edited the Guide de la musique d’orgue (Fayard, 1994) and the Guide de la mélodie et du lied (Fayard, 1991).
