Nelly Kaplan

• Born in Buenos Aires, she dropped out of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and went to Paris for a three-month stay that has gone on to this very day. Her first feature-length fiction film, 'La Fiancée du Pirate' has turned into something of a cult film. She has since written and directed a great number of other films for both the cinema and television.
  She has also written several books of fiction, including Le Réservoir des Sens, Le Collier de Ptyx, Aux Orchidées Sauvages, Un Manteau de Fou Rire and Ils furent une étrange Comète.
