Sergio Romano

• Sergio Romano, born in 1929, embraced a diplomatic career in 1954. After having been Ambassador to NATO for four years, he handed in his resignation. Among his most recent books, Il rischio americano (Longanesi 2003), I confini della storia (Rizzoli, 2003). He has taught at Florence, Sassari, Berkeley, Harvard, Pavie and, for a few years, Boccioni University in Milan. He is an editorialist for Corriere della Sera and Panorama.
