Claude Pinault
  • Claude Pinault was born on November 19, 1950, in Orleans. After a high-school degree in science, he studied agronomy, and in the meantime discovered architecture, construction and renovation. His need for independence pushed him to found several trading companies: ready-to-wear, leather goods, perfume, lingerie… For many years, he did extreme sports: paragliding, parachute, base jumping, hang-gliding, bungee jumping. But everything stopped for him one day in September, 2005, when, with the onset of Guillain-Barré syndrome, he wound up quadriplegic in the space of a few hours. Today, he’s coming back to life and working on a second book.
