Pierre Servent

• Pierre Servent, formerly with Le Monde, is a free-lance journalist, and the Defense and Strategy consultant for several French and foreign radio stations and TV channels. Author of several books about politics and history, he reported regularly from the war in Lebanon and the first Gulf War in the 80s and 90s. A reserve Colonel, he served as an officer in the Balkans, in Afghanistan and in Africa, most notably at headquarters for the Licorne Force in Côte d’Ivoire, alongside General Poncet). He leads seminars at the Inter-Army Defense College (CID).
