Monique Hebrard
  • Monique Hébrard is a journalist. She contributes regularly to the Catholic newspaper La Croix. Since the success of Nouveaux Disciples (an investigation into charismatic communities, published by Centurion in 1978) she has become recognized as one of the best witnesses to the changes taking place within the Church. Whether she’s discussing the role of women, the relationship between Christianity and New Age philosophies, new converts, social changes, she does it from the standpoint of a free-thinking believer. Her most recent books: Parole d’un moine en chemin – Jean-Pierre Longeat. Entretiens avec Monique Hébrard, (Thoughts from a Monk’s Path – Conversations between JPL and MH) Albin Michel, 2005; Avortement, la parole confisquée, (Abortion: Confiscated Speech) DDB, 2006.
