Jean-Louis Panné

• A historian and a publisher, Jean-Louis Panné was the secretary of Boris Souvarine. His biography of Souvarine was published in 1993 by Robert Laffont. He contributed to François Furet’s Le Passé d’une illusion (Robert Laffont/Calmann-Levy, 1995), and he and Stéphane Courtois came up with the idea of the Livre noir du communisme (Black Book of Communism, Robert Laffont, 1997). In 2010, his Jan Karski, le 'roman' et l’histoire (Jan Karski: the 'Novel' and the Story), was published by Pascal Galodé.
