Jil Silberstein
  • Jil Silberstein was born in Paris in 1948. After years of travel, he settled in Lausanne (Switzerland), where he contributed to Editions L’Âge d’Homme for 10 years and edited the anthropological-cultural revue Presences, before choosing to bear witness to the life of the Innus, Indians of Quebec-Labrador, whose lives he shared for over a year. Poet, chronicler, essayist and literary critic, Jil Silberstein has also translated  Georg Trakl, Czeslaw Milosz and Lawrence of Arabia. He lives in the Lausanne region.
