Arcady Vaksberg

• Arkadi Vaksberg is a Doctor of Law, writer, journalist and playwright. During the Soviet era, his writing was censured several times. He is the author of more than 40 works (non-fiction accounts, scientific articles, essays and biographies) as well as plays and film scripts. Several of his books have been translated into French, including Vychinski, le procureur de Staline (Vychinsky, Stalin’s Attorney) (Albin Michel, 1991);La Mafia russe (Albin Michel 1992), Hôtel Lux (Fayard,1998), and Staline et les juifs (“Stalin and the Jews”) (Robert Laffont, 2003). He died in 2011.
