Frederic-Jacques Temple
  • Frédéric-Jacques Temple is the author of many anthologies of poetry, united in 1989 in  Anthologie personnelle (Actes Sud), which received the Valéry-Larbaud Prize in 1990. He also won the Grand Prix de Poésie de la Société des Gens de Lettres in June 2003. In addition, he has written five novels: Les Eaux mortes, Un Cimetière indien, L'Enclos, La Route de San Romano, Le Chant des limules, translations of works by D. H. Lawrence, Thomas Hardy, Tennessee Williams, Lawrence Durrell, Henry Miller, Haniel Long and Neal Cassady, as well as biographies (D. H. Lawrence, L'œuvre et la vie, Seghers, l960, Le Tombeau de Médora, Les Editions de Paris, 2001).
